Due to the unstable high-temperature structure of the ternary lithium battery nickel-cobalt-aluminum, the high-temperature safety is poor, and the high pH value will easily cause the monomer to swell and cause danger. The traditional ternary lithium battery is sealed with fluorine plastic and O-type fluorine plastic ring. In the process of long-term use of the battery, the fluorine plastic and O-type fluorine plastic ring are affected by factors such as environment, temperature, time, etc., which are prone to aging and damage, leading to the battery Undesirable conditions such as liquid leakage and air leakage have seriously affected the service life of the battery. KWT has developed a fully-sealed cylindrical ternary power lithium battery glass package cover group, the cover group’s conductive core and cover are made of glass The package is insulated, and the cover group and the steel shell are sealed by laser welding/argon arc welding, which completely avoids the material aging problem caused by the use of fluoroplastics and O-shaped fluoroplastics for sealing, and improves the safety performance and service life of the battery.

The power lithium battery cover group product developed by KWT, the conductive core post material is aluminum 1060 and the cover group and shell support of the insulating glass encapsulation, reducing the difficulty of welding the electrical conductor core post and aluminum foil. The current alloy electric conductor core post and aluminum foil are difficult to weld, the welding strength cannot meet the technical requirements, and it is easy to cause falling off. The aluminum core column is light in weight, and the surface and aluminum foil are easy to weld. The short aluminum core column can increase the battery capacity, has the characteristics of charging block, uniform discharge, etc., prolongs the service life of the ternary battery, and can pass the glass consumption data, core Column diameter size data, cover plate inner hole diameter size data, cover plate thickness data and other adjustment data set the sintering process engineering parameters. When the internal pressure of the battery is met, the airtight pressure can be set up and down according to the needs of the product Make adjustments to ensure the safety performance of the product.

1. Product performance

(1) Insulation: DC 500V, temperature 25±5℃, power supply resistance ≥10⁴MΩ;

(2) Withstand voltage: 50HZ 1000V/AC voltage between the core column and the metal cover, the leakage current does not exceed 0.5mA within 1 second, and no spark is generated;

(3) Airtight: The cover group is in the airtight detector, the positive pressure is 0.8MPa~1MPa, no leakage, 1.3MPa~1.5MPa glass is cracked, and the release pressure is set to a safe value;

(4) Temperature: -40℃~180℃ cold and hot cycle 5 times, the glass has no cracks and no leakage.
